An all over cabled hat with a starburst design created in the crown decreases? Count me in! I am a devoted follower of the slouchy-hat-with pompom trend, but when decreases play out this nicely I like to let them shine un-obstructed by slouch or, gasp, dare I say even a pompom. Size: Women’s medium - finished hat fits a 19-21” head comfortably and is 8.5” from cast on to top. To downsize or upsize, simply adjust needle size. All over ribbed cable pattern is very stretchy allowing for a flexible fit across lots of sizes.

Yarn: 1 skein Tanis Fiber Arts PureWash Worsted Weight yarn (113 g = 205 yds).

Gauge: 1 chart repeat (40 stitches and 16 rows) = 5.25” wide & 2.5“ tall.

Needles: 4.5mm (US 7) 16" circular needle and dpns.
