Yarn: 1 skein Tanis Fiber Arts Yellow Label DK Weight yarn; 100% superwash merino 115g (4oz) = 238m (260yds), sample shown in Brick and Truffle.
Needles: 3.5mm 16” circular needle.
3.75mm 16” circular needle and dpns.
Or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 17 sts and 28 rounds = 3” square in pattern.

This hat pattern highlights the crisp stitch definition of Yellow Label DK Weight yarn. Crisp, clean, classic – that’s what this hat is to me. Brixter a versatile, unisex pattern with a lot of stretch and plenty of linear texture. I’ve given two sizing options, baby and adult. For in between sizes I’d recommend going up or down a needle size or two.
