This pattern was initially designed exclusively for the TFA Year In Colour Club, July 2013, featuring the custom colour ‘Papaya’ in Tanis Fiber Arts Red Label Cashmere/Silk single ply yarn. The pattern and the colourway are now available in wide release.
This colourway made me want to design a fun, graphic, modern shawl. I had a completely different design all planned out for this Club shipment, but then Chris and I came up with this vivid Papaya colourway and my original idea just didn’t seam right anymore. This shawl combines crisp cables and graphic lace in a fun little shawlette. Knit up in the irresistibly soft Red Label Cashmere/Silk Single Ply yarn this shawl is a great summer knit.
