Each skein is truly unique, there is variation between skeins even within the same batch. Embrace it! If you are knitting a large project and want to ensure there will be no noticeable shifts in colour or tone between skeins, we recommend alternating between two skeins every couple of rows. Please try to purchase enough yarn to complete your project - though we do not have numbered dye lots, we always fill orders for multiple skeins with yarn from the same batch.

Our custom line of TFA PureWash yarns are made from the softest organic merino which has been gently treated with a GOTS certified process to allow the fibers to be machine washable. Spun to our custom specifications by a local-to-us company and then dyed lovingly by us at TFA. Truly a labour of love!

PureWash Sock:

• 80% organic merino, treated, 20% recycled nylon

• 115g (4 oz) = 400m (440yds)

• gauge: 7-8 sts per inch

• needle: 2.25mm (U.S. size 1)

though machine washable and dryable, I always recommend that you hand wash, lay flat to dry.

Mini Skeins are 25g = 95yds. Mini Bundles feature 5 coordinated mini skeins as shown. Mini Skein Sets feature 10 coordinating colourways.

Sock Sets feature 1 full skein and 2 mini skeins.

A full batch is a minimum of 4 skeins of a single colour of fingering weight yarn and 8 skeins of a single colour of DK or worsted weight yarn.
