Hi guys! We're baaaaaaaack! I'm gearing up to re-open the shop this week and I'm excited about it. January kicked out butts but these first few weeks in February have made up for it. Our backordered yarns have arrived, we've been working at a comfortable pace that keeps us feeling productive but not overwhelmed and we're ready to push forward into 2016 with the rest of the world. Jane Richmond's Arika Cowl pattern + TFA Grey Label Chunky = a match made in heaven, am I right? I've seen a couple gorgeous Arika cowl's pop up around the internet featuring TFA Chunky and I'm so crazy about each and every one. So, let's do this!
There will be a Grey Label Etsy update on Wednesday, Feb. 17th at 12pm (noon) EST. The update will feature loads of Grey Label and a few other bases in small quantities as well.. You can find the shop here, it will appear empty until exactly 12pm EST on Wednesday at which point it will magically become full of yarn! A TFA ARIKA COWL KAL!
Let's all knit the Arika Cowl together! If you've already made one, make another one! I expect to make more than one because I just can't pick a colour. Here are all the pertinent details:
CAST ON :: Tuesday, March 1st at 12:01 am (in whatever timezone you live in).
CAST OFF :: Tuesday, March 15th at 11:59 pm (your timezone).
The Arika Cowl is a super quick knit, so 2 weeks should be plenty of time to knit one (or two, or three). The only rules are that it's got to be knit in TFA Grey Label in order to be part of the KAL (you'll need 2 skeins of our chunky yarn for the cowl) and you've got to start and finish during the above time period. That's it! Use the tag TFAARIKAKAL to tag your projects on Ravelry and other social media sites so I can find them and enter you to win fun prizes donated by yours truly as well as Jane Richmond. Woohoo!
