Top Tier Knitter: Kayrine
Yarn: TFA Yellow Label in Aurora.
What first caught my eye about this knit is the colourway! Aurora is definitely one of my faves, but I have yet to knit myself a sweater in it. Something that clearly needs to be remedied stat. Upon closer inspection, there is so much more to love about this awesome knit. The design is super interesting with the buttons up the back (it can be worn with the buttons in the front as well). The lace panel is so pretty and I really love the scoop neck. Kayrine is expecting and in her project notes she explains how she opted to curve the hems of the button band so it would purposely flare out. I think that was a brilliant mod because this way she can wear it with an ever expanding belly and over time, as the bottom no longer closes it'll look totally intentional. Genius! Don't you just love a versatile knit like this?
