Shireen is a long time friend of TFA and I always love seeing what she's working on. She is a crafter extraordinaire, check out her blog if you want to be thoroughly impressed at how many crafts one person can excel at! Shireen's latest pattern, the Sencilla Cowl, is a stunning one skein wonder. Using a single skein of my luxurious Amber Label Cashmere/Silk DK Weight yarn this cowl would make a fantastic knitted gift. That is - after you've knit one for yourself first of course... then knit another for a friend - that would be fantastic! I love all the details of this cowl, the texture, the shape and fit, but I think most of all I love those gorgeous cables meeting in the middle and working their way up the back of the neck together like a couple of waltzers. Perfection!
