Club - May 2014

Earlier this month we packed up and sent out a few hundred skeins of the best "yellow" I think we've ever come up with. I am loving this year's Club scheme. If you ask me, everything is better when done in rainbow formation! We're taking quite a few liberties with our TFA rainbow, (pink rather than red etc) and the green/turquoise/grey/yellow blend found in this month's Mellow colourway is hardly a conventional yellow, but I think it's so much more interesting that way, don't you? I think I'm going to use Mellow for my TFA Shawl KAL project, still haven't picked a project, but I'm narrowing down my colourway options!

There is nothing better than a lovely little shawlette to throw over your shoulders as we transition from spring to summer. Julie has designed this beautiful Laramidia Shawl to take you from the outdoor heat to indoor air conditioning. It's a very wearable elongated crescent shape with a simple but fun construction. Knit up in the scrumptious softness of Red Label yarn, it's the perfect 1 skein project.

Club memberships are available all year long, it's never too late to sign up! Join now and you'll receive your JanuaryMarch and May skein along with the next shipment of Club yarns in July. And don't forget! This year we're offering a "patterns only" option. So if you'd like to knit yourself the Laramidia Shawl with stash yarn, you totally can!
