Though certainly not as quick as buying a scarf 4 days away from Christmas, weaving a scarf is much quicker than knitting a scarf so it's still very much a possibility for the last minute crafters among us. I'm definitely still a very beginner weaver, but I think that with a bit of extra thought I could totally get the look of any of the above inspiration shots. So far in my weaving I've more or less stuck with one yarn for the warp and one yarn for the weft, but I think I'll have to break out of my comfort zone for my next project and attempt something a bit more creative and imaginative.
