One of my favourite things to do on Pinterest is pin inspirational images of colourful things. It seems so obvious, but it's shocking how long it took me to figure out this amazing function. It would happen so often that I'd see an image that I was drawn to, a combination of colours that spoke to me and that I would feel compelled to pin, but couldn't figure out what category or "pin-board" it fit into. One of my biggest criticisms of Pinterest is that it's so incredibly overwhelming and it can be hard to figure out what to do, or how to keep organized, the hundreds (maybe thousands?) of inspirational images that I pin. I certainly haven't come up with a fool proof method to feel un-intimidated by the scale quite yet, but I have mastered a few of my boards and one of my favourites is the one I've simply called "Colour".
This is where I store all of the images that could potentially be translated into yarn colourways. When I need a pick-me-up or need to boost my colour-creating mindset I'll browse this board. Lately I've been pinning a lot of things in this really cool and moody rust, silver, gold and navy combination. It reminds me of our Mosaic colourway and I just love it.
