This is not the first time I've featured Shireen's work on TFA Tuesday, see a few of her previous projects here and here. What you'll notice is that of two of the previous projects I've featured, there has been some crochet (her own design) and some knitting (also her own design) and now we've got this fabulous, fall of your chair, drop dead gorgeous woven project. Shireen used two Mini Sock Yarn Skein kits to weave this incredible scarf and she made a tutorial for anyone who might want to try it. It's shockingly beautiful and I want one.

I have been doing a bit of weaving lately. I hadn't touched my loom in years and decided to pull it out a few weeks ago. Seeing this makes me happy that I've dusted it off. Knitting is fabulous and will always be my true love, but the fabric produced by weaving is really remarkable and special in it's own right. It highlights the nuances in hand dyed yarns in a different way from knitting and I love that about it.

By the end of the day I will be all caught up on Lifesavers Sweater kits and Mini Sock Yarn Skein kit orders, so if you're waiting on something know that it's on it's way! I'll be taking the week off from winding mini skeins but hope to have more kits listed in the shop in the next week or two.
