For March we went in the complete opposite direction from what we featured in January. We chose a very pretty and subtle grey/pink shade that I think would not only look good in just about any pattern, but would also be fabulous paired with just about any other colour. Spun Sugar is a great neutral pink.
Don't you just love incorporated crown shaping on the top of a hat!? That star made up of a few twisty cables is so pretty. I designed the Backroad Beanie to highlight this month's yarn. If I'm being honest, I was really worried that a beanie was not going to be seasonally appropriate come March, but man was I wrong about that! We are officially a few days past the first day of spring yet are definitely still layering our wooly knits like crazy before braving the cold. I love the bobble detail on this hat. I have been wanting to design a pattern with bobbles for ages and a simple hat (where they can be easily omitted if bobbles aren't your thing) was the perfect foil.
