I intentionally let this project take longer than it should have because I was really enjoying the process and didn't want it to be over. I would limit the amount of time I'd permit myself to knit on it per night. With no limits I definitely could have started and finished this cowl in 2 nights. One night for the knitting and a second for the fringe.

The fringe really makes it in my opinion. I've seen a bunch of lovely versions where the knitter has opted to omit the fringe and they're still very nice, but to me the fringe takes it from "nice cowl" to a "knockout cowl". We were kind of crunched for time when taking the FO shots so these are all indoor/no head shots - but I did manage to get an Instagram shot of this cowl worn outside under a jacket how I typically would wear it. It really makes an outfit.

I'm in love with the Cosmic Night colourway. I've actually just begun a new cardigan design in this colourway. I typically don't knit the same colour back to back but this time I'm just not over it. Cosmic Night is a colourway we've featured in a few Etsy updates and I suspect it will continue to make appearances since I'm so crazy about it.

My mom knit her Arika in our Tartan colourway and it's equally beautiful. This KAL has been a lot of fun, what should we knit next?
