Charcoal, the anti-colour. If you search "Charcoal" on my Ravelry project page you'll find that I have never made an all-black knit. Quite comically all of my knits featuring charcoal are shockingly multicoloured. Having said that, it shouldn't come as a surprise when I tell you that I don't actually wear much black... at all. With the exception of outerwear (my winter coat and my favourite faux-leather bomber jacket are both black) I lead a pretty colourful life. It's not that I don't like black, because I really do! I love the idea of a black hand-knit sweater, I just don't like the idea of how quickly it would become covered in tiny white dog hairs. :)
