You can find the shop here, it will appear empty until exactly 3pm EST on Sunday at which point it will magically become full of yarn! All of the yarn in this update is ready to ship and I hope to have it in the mail within a week.
ETSY update on Sunday!!! Yes. Last week's Etsy Update featured a variety of colourways on a couple of our fingering weight bases. The people spoke (both in writing and with their precious yarn dollars) and there were a few high-demand colourways that you'd like to see more of. Good news, we've listened and we've dyed those colourways up for you on several more bases (including sweater quantities of Green and Yellow Label) and we will have the followup ETSY update featuring all your favourites on Sunday.
But that's not all! Sunday's update will also feature a whole bunch of TFA Palettes as well as Mitten Kits and Mini Sock Yarn Skein Sets. I've been struggling with figuring out what would be the best way to make Palettes and Mitten Kits available going forward and I've decided to list them on Etsy. I'm really loving the creative freedom involved in glancing over at my shelves, seeing what's there and coming up with colour combinations that way. It means that I can make different Palettes any time I want in whatever spectrum I'm really drawn to on that particular day. Seeing as how I'm planning a big Blanket KAL this summer I really want to be able to have Palettes available more frequently and smaller lots in a variety of colourways is the best way to make that happen. Why Etsy over the neglected Kits section on my website? Well, because when I've got a limited number of items in each colourway, Etsy makes it so much easier to manage, both on my end and on yours since you can easily see exactly how many of a particular item is available. And since it seems weird to have some kits available on my website and others on Etsy I've decided to move all the kits over to Etsy for the time being and hopefully keep it stocked more frequently - that includes Mini Sock Yarn Skein sets. I'll have two different colourway options available on Sunday.
We're working on lots of exciting things and I'm feeling super energized about it. Chris has been doing loads of experiments in the studio and the direction his creativity is taking him in is breathtakingly beautiful. I can't wait to share it with you all!
