This was a really lovely vacation knit. I knit the majority of this hat in the car touring around PEI with the boys. The island is beautiful and so is this hat. :)
We all love a good chevron and I can't get enough cool texture in my knits, so this design was an immediate home run for me. I was prepared to loose some of the texture in the speckles of the colourway that I chose for this hat but was pleasantly surprised at the amount of detail that still shines through even though it's a dynamic colourway. That's probably my favourite thing about the speckles that we've developed, from a distance they almost read as solids, but up close they are magic!
