Last week we spent $15.99 at Canadian Tire and bought this swing to hang from the huge maple tree that graces our front lawn. It was the best $15.99 we’ve ever spent! I had no idea the kids would be so into it. It has become the centre of all their play and it’s just the most wholesome, sweetest thing you’ve ever seen!
She smiles from ear to ear (and giggles!) the entire time she’s swinging!

I recently bought some silicone donut molds and made baked donuts for the first time. I used this recipe but then whipped up a quick vanilla glaze and packed on the sprinkles - next time I’ll do the cinnamon sugar because I bet it would be more delicious but the kids were very excited about the sprinkles. Make no mistake, these are no yeast based fried donut, but they are adorable and super quick and easy to make. More of a cupcake in donut form and that’s loads of fun!
