Rowan needed a new earflap hat this season. The daycare requests that the kids have hats that tie up so they stay on during outdoor play time. I was happy to comply. This year I picked out this really lovely red and navy blue snowsuit for our little guy. I thought that red was bright and fun and that he'd be easy to keep an eye on at the tobogganing hill! I didn't realize how difficult it would be for me to match knits to. This is not a red problem, this is a Tanis problem. I love red, I just don't know what to do with it! I struggled forever to come up with this colour combo for his hat and in the end couldn't stay away from adding the turquoise pompom. I am so at ease with blues, grey's, turquoise, green. Coordinating to red is my kryptonite. Rowan looks great in his hat though, and red really suits him, so I'd better work on my red schemes!
